Time Management During the Holiday Season For Women in Business December 6, 2021 by Jessica StapfSharePostSharePinAs women in business, we wear a lot of hats. We’re making sure the gifts are wrapped, dinner is on the table, and our clients are being served to the best of our ability. It’s overwhelming and stressful. But how do you ensure you’re hitting your financial goals and enjoying the holidays with your loved ones? The time of the year has come when your clients’ schedule will be filling up and so will yours… Let me ask, how do you respond to this season? I would encourage you to own your schedule, know every open opportunity you have, and start now getting your clients set into your schedule for the next three months. 3 Things That Will Create a Joy-Filled Season! Own your calendar. You deserve to create the life you desire and when you let others creep in and take over your calendar, they are deciding for you what your time and life will look like. So, you decide first what you want personally and professionally and then open your schedule leaving a bit of margin for shifting. (Note to self this is a huge opportunity season to serve and gain financial cushion so plan accordingly to match your goals.) Know your schedule inside and out. Look for any 10-minute gaps that can be moved up or down to create a space for another appointment. Check on your service times and shave off the minutes you don’t need. This can create many more opportunities for clients to get in and you to make more money! Pre-booking is the game-changer. When it comes to creating more opportunities and giving the gift of ease to your clients. This is the best way to open your time at the end of the service and create more time for selling retail versus getting another appointment in. Also, once a person is on a continuous schedule with you it makes it harder for them to try someone new. The commitment to you is way stronger once pre-booked. The most important reminder is to take time for yourself. My friend, you cannot pour from an empty cup. Running yourself ragged will only negatively affect you and your loved ones. Plan and tackle this holiday season. I believe in you! If you’d like me to expand on these things, let me know! I’d love to offer you the extra support you need during this season.
