How Are You? I Mean Really. October 28, 2021 by Jessica StapfShareTweetSharePinIt’s a question that we all get asked all the time, sometimes even multiple times a day! And if you’re anything like me, you most often respond with a “Good, how are you?” But I want to know how you really are. It’s so important to remove the fluff and decrease the small talk and truly think of a response. I mean like actually think about how you’re doing and take the time to respond organically and truthfully! Communicate your truth. It’s important to speak your truth, and I don’t mean deeply sharing your current hurdles in life to the grocery store clerk that asked you. Find a balance. Start sharing truthfully with the people you trust in your life. Communicate what’s on your mind in a healthy way and decrease the internal battles you experience from bottling it all up and responding with the response you think they want to hear.
