My Go-To Essential Oils July 9, 2024 by Jessica StapfSharePostSharePin Thirteen years ago, I decided to choose dōTERRA as my go-to solution whenever I or a family member needed it. Thanks to these natural remedies, we are all encouraged to prioritize these natural resources first. It’s incredibly heartwarming for me to see my children understand that they have choices. Removing toxins from my home has greatly improved my overall health, and I am forever grateful for that. Diving into this world can be overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. Here are my go-to essential oils and how I use them. Frankincense: Utilize a drop under the tongue daily for cell support. Apply along the neck for adrenal support. Use this oil every day for overall body and cellular support to promote healthy cellular function. Copaiba: A drop on the back of my neck can help soothe anxious feelings and promote a smooth complexion. It also supports cardiovascular, immune, digestive, and nervous system health when taken internally. Deep Blue: Muscle tension post-workout? This is my go-to for sore muscles. It’s available in oil, stick, or cream. My favorite is the stick! Serenity: Every night, use the diffuser to create a calm and tranquil atmosphere to help with a restful night of sleep. It also helps to support anxious feelings. Balance: It creates a calming atmosphere, provides a relaxing aroma, and helps me feel more grounded. I apply a drop or two on the bottoms of my feet and the back of my neck. Lavender: I use this on my skin during times of occasional discomfort. It’s my go-to for any skin issues! Many people also use it to create a calming atmosphere in a diffuser. Lemon: Use lemon for cleaning, in water every morning for digestion support, and diffuse for fresh air. Shinrin-Yoku: I utilize this to curate my forest bathing experience, which helps me stay centered and grounded. I incorporate this into my evening serenity routine and diffuse it for an even calmer, more restful sleep. During times when I need to slow down, focus, and center myself, I apply a drop of this to the inside of my arms using a roller. Rose: Apply a drop of this product on my heart daily to support my emotions and open up my heart to what the day has to offer. I also use it on my face to help balance the moisture in my skin and reduce the appearance of skin imperfections, keeping my skin looking healthier. DigestZen: One of the most commonly used oils for my kids to help soothe occasional upset stomach and support indigestion. You can rub it on their belly, put it into a capsule, and take it internally.
